Staples:供应商行为守则发表时间:2019-03-08 16:40 Staples¡ Supplier Code of Conduct At Staples, we strive to work with suppliers who treat their workers with dignity and respect, adhere to applicable laws and regulations, and make their products in an environmentallysustainable manner. Accordingly, we require each supplier providing us with Staples brand products to comply with the following Supplier Code of Conduct (¡our Code¡).* We strongly recommend that our other suppliers comply with our Code or similar standards: 在Staples,我们力求我们的供应商尊重工人的尊严,遵守当地的法律法规,并且以可持 续发展的环境下生产产品。相应地,我们要求每一个供应商向Staples 提供符合下列供 应商行为守则的产品。我们强烈建议我们的其它的供应商遵守我们的准则或者类似的标 准。 1 Forced Labor: Suppliers shall not use forced labor, whether in the form of prison labor, indentured labor, bonded labor, or otherwise. 1 强制劳动:供应商不可以雇佣强制劳动,无论是雇佣狱中犯人,还是契约劳工,抵 押劳工,等其它方式都不可以雇佣。 2 Child Labor: Suppliers shall not employ people younger than 14, or the minimum age for completing compulsory education in the country of manufacture, whichever is higher. 2 童工:供应商们不可以雇佣低于14 周岁的人,或者不可低于该生产国中对于完成 义务教育规定的最低年龄。 3 Harassment and Abuse: Suppliers shall treat every employee with respect and dignity, and shall not subject any employee to physical, sexual, psychological, or verbal harassment or abuse. 3 骚扰和虐待:供应商应该尊重每个员工的尊严,供应商不可以对员工进行任何身体 上的、性的、心理上或者口头上的骚扰或者伤害。 4 Nondiscrimination: Suppliers shall not subject any person to discrimination in employment (including hiring, salary, benefits, advancement, discipline, termination, or retirement) on the basis of gender, race, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, political opinion, or social or ethnic origin. 4 不歧视:供应商不可以因雇员的性别、种族、宗族、年龄、残疾、性取向、国籍, 政治见解,社会或种族出身不同而采取任何歧视对待(包括招聘、工资、福利、晋 升、训导、终止或退休)。 5 Health and Safety: Suppliers shall comply with applicable environmental laws and regulations and provide a safe and healthy working environment to prevent accidents and injury to health occurring within or arising out of the course of work, or as a result of the operation of employer facilities. 5 健康与安全:供应商应遵守适用的环境法律法规,并提供一个安全健康的工作环境, 以防止发生意外和在生产过程中使工人受伤,或者由于操作机器导致的受伤。 6 Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining: Suppliers shall recognize and respect the right of employees to freedom of association and collective bargaining. 6 结社自由和集体谈判权:供应商应认识到和尊重员工自由结社和集体谈判的权力。 7 Wages and Benefits: Suppliers shall pay employees at least the minimum wage required by local law, or the prevailing industry wage if no minimum wage law applies, and shall provide legally mandated benefits. 7 工资和福利:供应商应该向员工提供当地法律要求的最低工资,或者在如果没有相 关的法律规定下,行业内的普遍的最低工资标准,并应该提供法律规定的福利。 8 Hours of Work: Employees should not be required to work more than 60 hours a week except in extraordinary business circumstances. Employees should be granted at least one day off in every seven-day period. 8 工作时间:除非在特殊的商业情况下,员工不应该要求每周工作时间超过60 小时以 上。员工每周应该有至少一天的休息时间。 9 Overtime Compensation: In addition to their compensation for regular hours of work, suppliers shall compensate employees for overtime hours at the applicable premium rate in their country. In countries that have not established premium overtime rates, suppliers shall not pay employees less than their regular hourly rate for overtime hours. 9 加班补偿:除了对员工的日常工作时间进行补偿外,供应商应该对员工进行的超过 正常工作时间进行的工作做适当的补偿。在那些没有固定加班费用的国家,供应商应该 按加班时间给员工支付不低于平时每小时工资的加班费。
